Super Arts Orchestra and Musical Soiree Evening

Wow!!!! What a fanrastic two weeks we have just had at PNINS in the Performing Arts. Our orchestra won the orchestra banner in Super Arts, our rock band performed live in the square at the 'Our People Our Place' youth concert, and our orchestra, choir, rockband, and ukulele orchestra all performed alongside Tiritea choir, Winchester choir, and the Feilding High School concert band at our musical soiree evening. Don't forget to get your tickets to Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast Jnr' - on stage at our Performing Arts Centre November 1, 2, 3 at 7.00PM - Tickets available from the school office. - this is going to be a stunning production.

Well, what a fantastic experience, having Will Martin perform at our school and what a real treat for the choir to sing with him at his concert on the Saturday night. An experience that I am sure we will all remember for years to come. Well done to the choir, a stunning performance - something that we are all very, very proud of. PERFORMING ARTS ASSEMBLY

Congratulations to our drama group for 'reclaiming' the "Super Arts Drama" banner this term - well done! If you would like a chance to see this group perform their winning play then come along to our Performing Arts Assembly on Friday the 5th of August (week one term three). Our Friday afternoon assembly will showcase all five of our Performing Arts groups. Be sure not to miss this chance to see and hear what our groups have been working on so far throughout the year.

After the huge success of  Disney's High School Musical Junior in 2009, we have again been lucky enough to secure the performance rights to a Disney show, Disney's Beauty and the Beast Junior. A gruelling round of auditions and call-backs were held over a period of four weeks and over 250 students auditioned! After an unprecedented two weeks of call-backs, we are in a position to name our extremely talented cast. The cast will be posted on Wednesday 8th June. To all those successful students - well done and to those that have missed out, keep positive, hold your heads high - you all did exceptionally well.
